Holiday Schedule

The Clerks Office in Winston-Salem will be closed on November 23 & 24. The Greensboro Clerks Office will be closed on Thursday, November 23, but will be open on Friday, November 24. Both offices will be closed on December 25 & 26 and on January 1. Electronic filing via CM/ECF remains available for registered users on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis.

Please be aware that new Bankruptcy Rules go into effect on December 1, 2017.
The Rules have significant changes in deadlines, including:

In Chapter 13 cases, the time period to object to confirmation is reduced from 28 days to 21 days.

In Chapter 7, 12, and 13 cases, the time period to file a timely proof of claim is now 70 days from the order for relief.
