Welcome to the official website for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. We have staffed offices in Greensboro and Winston-Salem.


The public intake counters of the Clerk's Office are currently closed through and including Friday, January 29, 2021. Drop boxes are available in the Greensboro and Winston-Salem lobbies for filings. Payments may be mailed to the Court in Greensboro. Help is also available at 336-358-4000. You may request a private appointment for additional help while the counters are closed, if needed.

All parties should familiarize themselves with the Court’s COVID-19 Standing Orders and guidelines for telephonic hearings, which may be accessed below.
