In September 2006, the Judicial Conference adopted a private seminars disclosure reporting policy [1] that requires educational program providers and judges to disclose certain information relevant to judges' attendance at privately-funded educational programs. The rationale and purpose for the policy are discussed in detail a a Statement of Purpose [2] that was prepared by the Judicial Conference on the Judicial Branch.
