Case Management, Electronic Case Filing Information Audio Recording of Court Proceedings
- Digital Audio Recordings of Court Proceedings are available through PACER. A fee of $2.40 will be charged for downloading each digital audio file. Questions regarding this feature may be directed to the Help Desk at CMECFHelp@ncmb.uscourts.gov.
CM/ECF Release 4.2 CM/ECF Registration, Training, & Requirements
- ECF Registration & Training Information - To become certified and receive a live login to file electronically with our court, you must register and complete the assigned training. If you are currently registered to use CM/ECF in another U.S. Bankruptcy or U.S. District Court, you must still register and become certified to use CM/ECF at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court - Middle District of North Carolina.

Access to CM/ECF and PACER
- LIVE Database - If you have a live login from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court - Middle District of North Carolina, you can access the CM/ECF Live Database to file bankruptcy-related documents electronically.
- TRAINING Database - Use the CM/ECF Training Database while completing your training. You may also use it to practice filing documents without affecting live cases.
- PACER - Access to court data is made available via Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER). You must have a PACER login and password to access CM/ECF documents and reports. If you currently do not have a PACER login and password, you can visit the PACER Service Center to obtain one. You can use your PACER login and password to access case and docket information from all Federal Bankruptcy, District, and Appellate Courts.
Additional CM/ECF Resources - Attorney Manual - The online attorney manual has easy-to-follow instructions for common documents that can be filed in CM/ECF.

- County Tax Office Addresses - Lists mailing addresses for several North Carolina county tax offices and agencies.
- Reduced Paper Module - The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina uses the Reduced Paper Module to eliminate redundant paper notices sent by the Court.
